Ariadne falls in love with Theseus. Together, they run away to an island. Countless years later, war and violence have run rampant through her life. She is wounded not only by her supposed lover, but her father too. Despite the passing time, Ariadne (or Ria by another name) lives day by day in her barren world. With roots in ancient Greek mythology and the story of the Minotaur, Bone to Pick tells the story of a victim and survivor who’s life has been riddled and destroyed by the violence of war. With nothing left, is survival a blessing or a curse?
